Annual Service – SternDrive
- Change engine oil and filter, impeller, fuel filters.
- Inspect plug wires, belts, water hoses, fuel lines.
- Clean flame arrestor and sea strainers.
- Inspect heat exchangers for blockages.
- Inspect and replace zinc if needed.
- Inspect and replace if necessary spark plugs, and distributor cap & rotor.
- Load test batteries.
- Lubricate throttle and shift linkages.
- Clean and tight power and ground connections.
- Tighten hose clamps.
- Check accessories, gauges, and controls.
- Drain gear oil and inspect for contamination.
- Remove outdrive and inspect gimbal bearing, u-joints, bellows, engine coupler, engine alignment, and trim operation.
- Torque gimbal ring, blow out speedo pickup.
- Remove propeller and grease splines.
Final price is dependent on boat size, type, make, etc.
